Ray Bartman
Principal
Ray Bartman is one of REV’s founding principals. His everyday goal is to provide organizational leadership to the manufacturing and design departments at REV, with responsibility for the overall direction, coordination and operation of the departments. Starting as a graduate from the University of Alberta with Professional Engineer certification, Ray now has 25 years of experience in the electrical industry with a specialization in protection and control systems for the power industry. He finds the best part of this industry to be that it never gets old, as things are continuously changing and the energy industry continues to move into a new era.

Shawn Oldenburger
Principal
Shawn Oldenburger is one of REV’s founding principals. With 18+ years of experience in field services and testing Shawn has worked his way up through many roles. Starting as a field service technician, Shawn worked towards a PM role and later became a VP of field services. Now as a Principal at REV, Shawn has found his favorite part of the industry to be the ever changing technology of electrical systems, as well as his clients. “One of the best parts of working in this industry is meeting new clients and working with them on their electrical needs, it is incredibly fulfilling.”

Dean Petig
Principal
Dean Petig has over 38 years of experience in the electrical manufacturing industry. Prior to becoming a partner with REV in 2009 he worked his way through all aspects of the design, manufacturing, testing and sale of electrical equipment. Dean has an extensive resume of project involvement, ranging from equipment related projects to the mining and oil sands industries. He has been directly involved with many innovative new designs and prides himself on providing end users with the best possible solutions. Dean is very proud to currently be REV’s acting President and a member on the board of directors.

Jason Molstad
Principal
As a founding principal at REV, Jason is a leader in client relations, business development and REV’s field service department. Jason had his start in the industry as a teen as he assisted his Dad in contract work throughout the power industry. Now with 25 years in the electrical industry, he has developed a copious amount of skills in the areas of substation maintenance and construction as well as field service testing, retrofits, equipment upgrades and many more. Jason strongly believes that REV’s team and clients are the best part of his work and has a particular passion towards REV’s participation in giving back to the community. Jason looks forward to seeing just how far REV’s charitable work will go in the near future.

Trevor Schmidt
General Manager
As REV’s general manager, Trevor Schmidt oversees all operations, including field service, manufacturing and supply chain. With over 20 years of operations and manufacturing management experience, Trevor possesses strong new business development and management skills, lean manufacturing techniques, and team building, enabling him to be a successful leader of business in a rapid growth environment. His favorite part of this line of work is the industry dynamic, “I really look forward to seeing new markets in wind and solar energy.” It is Trevor’s “whatever it takes attitude” that helps him to maintain a strong work ethic and the ability to lead by example.

Daryll Lowry
Sales Manager
Daryll brings to REV a 20 year career in the electrical industry that has been focused on long and short term strategy development, intentional leadership, strategic partnerships and business development. For REV, Daryll will continue to leverage his proven track record of success to be a part of the team that develops and executes the plan for growth.

Mike Chovancak
Field Services Manager
As the Field Services Manager, Mike Chovancak, P.Tech (Eng), NETA Level IV, is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the field service department. He has been involved in the electrical field service industry for the past 10 years, with experience ranging from substation commissioning/maintenance and custom retro-fit designs to protection & control and equipment upgrades. Mike has a strong drive and always works to ensure he and his team safely execute projects with high level of quality, and cost effective proven solutions. Mike enjoys the day-to-day technical challenges and the fast-paced environment that field services provides.

Jordan Burt
Electrical Engineering Manager
Electrical Engineering Manager, Jordan Burt, P. Eng., is responsible for overseeing the engineering department at REV. Over the past 13 years with REV, Jordan has worked his way through various positions in order to achieve the role as Electrical Engineering Manager. Jordan has extensive experience in electrical safety, completing various arc flash studies for REV’s clients, and this year will become REV’s representative on the CSA Z462 Workplace Electrical Safety Technical Committee. Jordan has found throughout his experiences that the most enjoyable part of working at REV is the staff and the ever changing challenges that electrical engineering presents.
